You need to level up the woodshed to level 3 in order to purchase level 3 upgrades, but I think I should have made that clearer in the UI. You will probably need to close the building UI and reopen to increase the building level if you have enough resources but can't press the Level Up button. Thank you for trying out the game!

On safari , the upgrade button change colour while the required ressources are harvested ( when the windows is already open ) but the level up button stay un clickable. I had to close open again

Unfortunately that's an issue I ran out of time to fix within the game jam time frame. Thank you for letting me know, I appreciate you giving the game a try!

Couldn't get the game to run well on Firefox.  It locks up after clicking the Start button and takes a real life minute+ or so to do anything.  I'm not sure why, it doesn't look like a very demanding game.  At first I thought it had crashed completely.

Once it loaded, played okay.  The UI is unclear about which things are buyable vs. not - the main levels are darkened vs. the upgrades below are lighter when not purchasable, which is confusing.  It's unclear which buildings have things that can be bought at any given point, which leads to lots of aimless clicking around to find one to buy.  Same with when you can buy a level up vs. an upgrade; the game doesn't communicate to the player what's stopping them from progressing ; I eventually inferred it was Pyre progress and maybe other building upgrades. There's no tension or sense of danger (this may have been intentional, I cannot say).  The land reveals don't feel very exciting as the sole reward.

The pan/scroll speed to so slow it's detracting significantly from the experience. It would have been a lot better if the whole map was on screen at once - not accessible, just not requiring scrolling to get to the interaction points.

The music got irritating after about a minute, I muted the tab in order to finish.  I appreciated that it was over fairly fast, and the art looks nice.  There's just not a lot of game here.

I'm not sure why it's having an issue with starting, I also run it on Firefox and haven't been able to replicate the problem, but I will look into it and see what might be going on at startup. Thanks for letting me know!

It's just a jam game I made in 5 days, so it ended up being pretty low tension just to keep the scope manageable. I agree that more polished UI and and more rewards would improve it, some of that just came down to running out of time. Having a full map mode for less scrolling around is a good idea. Thank you for giving it a try, I appreciate your feedback!

Can't move the camera. I will come back to check here later.

Hi, can you tell me any more specifics about the issue? I haven't been able to replicate it so far. Thank you for letting me know!

Pressing WASD doesn't move the camera.
